Donor Services Representative

 

Description:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Data entry and clean-up: Accurately prepare and update member records in Tessitura, the Museum’s CRM software.
  • Processing preparation: Pull daily sales reports, and sort and prepare membership forms for batch entry into Tessitura.
  • Customer service and teamwork: Contact donors and members when there are issues with or questions about their membership application or payment. Work with SAM’s call center, visitor experience team, and other development staff in resolving donor/membership issues.
  • Fulfillment support: Assist with printing, assembling, and mailing membership fulfillment materials and donor acknowledgements.
  • Perform other duties & responsibilities as assigned.

 


QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

  • High school graduate or the equivalent education/experience.
  • Experience with Tessitura highly desired.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to communicate when giving and taking information in writing, in person, and over the phone.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with and accuracy in using MS Office products, including Word, Excel, Access and other software programs. Accurate typing/keyboarding skills (minimum 50 wpm)
  • Ability to take initiative, work independently or as part of a team; ability to motivate self & prioritize tasks.
  • Ability to work with close attention to both alpha and numeric detail and to maintain confidentiality.
  • Ability to work with donors, members, the public, and co-workers professionally and tactfully, and support management decisions in a positive, professional manner.
