New Direction Family Law, a fast-growing litigation firm in downtown Raleigh, is seeking an experienced Family Law Attorney to join their dynamic team. This role requires strong litigation skills, empathy for clients, and a commitment to excellence in legal practice. The firm is dedicated to helping clients through separation and divorce, providing exceptional client-centered representation.

Responsibilities:

• Provide legal counsel and representation in family law matters, including separation, divorce, child custody, child support, alimony, and property division.

• Represent clients in court, mediations, and negotiations, advocating for their best interests.

• Conduct legal research, draft legal documents, and prepare case strategies.

• Maintain meticulous attention to applicable case law, local rules, and civil procedures.

• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and other stakeholders.

• Ensure client-centered representation with a focus on ethical practice and compassion.

Required Qualifications:

• Active license to practice law in North Carolina.

• Minimum 5 years of legal and trial experience, specifically in family law.

• Strong trial, negotiation, research, drafting, and communication skills.

• Proven ability to interact and communicate effectively with clients and opposing counsel.

• Meticulous attention to case law, rules, and procedures.

• Commitment to client-centered representation and ethical practice.
