Description:
Seeking qualified candidates with 2+ years of experience in Finance and Accounting within the manufacturing industry!
Day to Day Responsibilities:
- Provide cost data for financial reporting.
- Process financial entries, with a focus on inventory.
- Offer analytical support using PowerBI and advanced Excel.
- Manage accounts receivable, invoicing, cash receipts, and collections.
- Oversee accounts payable, serving as backup.
- Record sales commissions and generate payables.
- Calculate and post metrics using MS Excel.
- Handle sales tax reporting.
- Backup role in purchasing for order placement and ERP entry.
- Maintain accurate general ledger balances, and draft bank reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly audit schedules.
- Review WIP and Stock Status accounts for accuracy.
- Conduct month-end procedures, generate trial balances, and analyze sales/margins.
- Support the budgeting process.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- Bachelor's/Associate's Degree in accounting or related field.
- Manufacturing experience required
- 2+ years' experience with month-end close and preparing trial balance/financial statements.
