Human Resources Generalist

 

Description:

Robert Half is currently looking for an experienced Human Resources Generalist to join our client's team in Maryville, Tennessee. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about fostering a positive workplace culture. You will play a key role in supporting various HR functions, including employee relations, payroll, and compliance.

 

Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee employee relations to ensure a positive and productive workplace environment.

• Handle payroll processes for a workforce of 101-500 employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

• Administer employee benefit programs and address any related inquiries.

• Facilitate the hiring process, including job postings, interviews, and candidate selection.

• Lead onboarding initiatives to ensure new hires are integrated seamlessly into the organization.

• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations.

• Utilize Paycom software for HR and payroll-related tasks efficiently.

• Support the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.

• Provide clear and effective communication across all levels of the organization.

 

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a human resources role.

• Strong knowledge of employee relations, hiring processes, and onboarding practices.

• Proficiency in payroll management for mid-sized employee groups.

• Familiarity with Paycom or similar HR software systems.

• Solid understanding of compliance with labor laws and regulations.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to manage benefit functions effectively and address employee concerns.

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
