Key Duties:
- Draft coverage opinions, RORs, disclaimers, and bad faith defenses for property, casualty, and specialty lines.
- Conduct early evaluations, depositions, and dispositive motions in state/federal courts.
- Advise on reinsurance arbitrations, subrogation recoveries, and regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate on multi-state teams for catastrophic losses and complex commercial disputes.
- Support partners in client development and strategic resolution decisions.
- Represent clients in federal/state courtrooms and arbitrations, including arguing motions, evidentiary hearings, and jury trials when cases proceed to verdict.
Ideal Candidate:
- 7+ years insurance defense/coverage experience (carrier-side preferred).
- MA bar required; additional state bars (CT, NY, NJ, PA) a plus but not essential.
- Proven litigation track record with strong academics and advocacy skills.
