Description:

A prestigious V30 law firm is seeking a talented associate with a minimum of 3 years of experience in investment management law to join its New York office. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in advising on the formation, structuring, and regulation of investment funds, with a deep understanding of the regulatory frameworks governing these entities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advise clients on the formation, structuring, and operation of investment funds, including private funds (hedge, private equity, venture capital) and registered funds.
• Provide counsel on compliance matters related to the Investment Company Act of 1940, the Investment Advisers Act of 1940, the Securities Act of 1933, and the Securities Exchange Act of 1934.
• Assist with the preparation and review of regulatory filings, offering documents, and investment management agreements.
• Collaborate with clients on regulatory examinations and disclosure requirements.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in investment management law at a reputable law firm or in-house legal department.
• Admission to the New York State Bar
