Description:
Aston Carter is seeking a Logistics Specialist to support their Middle Mile operations in Nashville, TN. This role focuses on enhancing the performance of the Transportation Services network by identifying discrepancies, driving process improvements, and providing actionable insights for customer-facing programs.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and resolve performance score discrepancies across the Transportation Services carrier network.
Partner with teams to drive process improvements in service, technology, and carrier performance engagement.
Collaborate on development and delivery of programs, metrics, reports, analyses, and dashboards to inform business decisions.
Extract, manage, and analyze data from multiple systems including Excel, QuickSight, Hubble, and SQL to improve operations and supply chain performance.
Essential Skills:
Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office, including pivot tables, charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested formulas, data cleansing, and array formulas.
Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
Experience managing large datasets to drive performance and process improvements.
Familiarity with supply chain, intermodal, carrier, and transportation operations.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Attributes such as ownership, delivering results, and bias for action.
Pay and Benefits:
Hourly pay: $23/hr
