Description:
VCI Worldwide is seeking an organized, detail-oriented Operations & Logistics Manager to support our growing production team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the live event, audio visual, staging, production industry and possess strong organizational and communication skills.
This position plays a critical role in coordinating freelance labor, transportation logistics, equipment movement, and operational support to ensure successful event execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and schedule freelance labor crews for event installations, operation, and strike.
- Manage labor call sheets, crew confirmations, and scheduling changes.
- Coordinate trucking and transportation logistics for equipment deliveries and pickups.
- Work closely with Operations, Project Managers, and Warehouse personnel to ensure equipment is allocated and delivered accurately.
- Communicate with clients, vendors, trucking companies, and freelance technicians.
- Prepare operational documents including schedules, manifests, labor reports, and transportation schedules.
- Assist with warehouse and production planning during peak periods.
- Maintain strong relationships with freelance technicians and transportation vendors.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in the live event, audio video, production, staging, entertainment, or related industry preferred.
- Understanding of audio, video, lighting, LED walls, staging, and event production workflows.
- Experience scheduling freelance labor and managing crew logistics is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of trucking, freight, and transportation coordination.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and scheduling software.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to work occasional evenings, weekends, and event days when required.

- Event production company experience.
- Knowledge of union and non-union labor environments.
- Experience with labor scheduling software.
- Project management experience within the live events industry.
