Mechanical Estimator

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate and detailed cost estimates for mechanical projects, ensuring that all aspects of the project are considered. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems and the ability to analyze project specifications and drawings to provide precise estimates that align with our clients' needs and project goals.

Key Responsibilities
 

• Review project specifications and drawings to develop accurate cost estimates.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to gather necessary information for estimating.
• Prepare detailed take-offs for mechanical systems including HVAC, piping, and sheet metal.
• Utilize estimating software such as Accubid to generate cost estimates.
• Analyze labor, material, and overhead costs to ensure competitive pricing.
• Prepare and submit bids and proposals to clients in a timely manner.
• Assist in the development of project budgets and timelines.
• Monitor project costs and provide updates to management as needed.
   

Qualifications
 

• Proven experience as a Mechanical Estimator in an industrial setting.
• Strong knowledge of MCAA, HVAC, MEP, and mechanical construction processes.
• Experience with process piping and sheet metal estimating.
• Familiarity with estimating software, particularly Accubid.
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members and clients.
