Multimedia Technician
Role Overview

  • :Install, operate, troubleshoot, and maintain audio/visual equipment, including live broadcasting encoders, desktop computers, laptops, multifunction printers, scanners, plotters, video conferencing systems, and handheld mobile devices
  • .Diagnose and resolve technical issues in response to customer support requests
  • .Support Board of Trustee meetings, forums, customer outreach events, and public input sessions
  • .Provide setup, operation, and breakdown of A/V equipment for internal and external events
  • .Assist with Corporate Communications and Public Relations events at various San Antonio area locations
  • .Coordinate with internal teams and vendors for the delivery, installation, and maintenance of A/V and printer equipment
  • .Create troubleshooting procedures, product documentation, and end-user training materials
  • .Stay current with emerging industry technologies and best practices
  • .Participate in an on-call rotation to provide 24x7 support, as needed
  • .Availability for after-hours, weekend, and holiday support for sponsored events

Tasks & Responsibilities

  • esSupport audio/visual requirements for board meetings, corporate events, public relations activities, and onsite or remote meeting
  • s.Provide onsite and remote Tier 2/Tier 3 support for A/V equipment, multifunction printers, scanners, desktops, laptops, phones, and handheld device
  • s.Perform routine maintenance and repairs on multifunction printers, plotters, and scanner
  • s.Set up, configure, operate, and break down projectors, mixers, microphones, and speaker system
  • s.Create and maintain process documentation and end-user guides for installation, troubleshooting, and equipment trainin
  • g.Prioritize and manage daily and weekly work assignment
  • s.Perform PC and multifunction printer equipment relocation
  • s.Maintain and enhance technical knowledge through independent learning, training, and conference
  • s.Identify opportunities to improve existing processes and increase operational efficienc

Minimum Qualificatications

  • onsHigh School Diploma or GED equivale
  • nt.Entry-level experience supporting and maintaining audio/visual equipment, including LCD/LED TVs, projectors, and PA syste
  • ms.Experience working within a tiered IT support environme
  • nt.Hands-on experience supporting multifunction printers, scanners, and plotte
  • rs.Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to follow directions and deliver resul
  • ts.Basic understanding of PC networking concepts and Windows Active Directo
  • ry.Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlo
  • ok.Valid Class C Texas Driver's License with a favorable driving reco
