Description:

CHRISTUS Health is seeking full-time and part-time board-certified or board-eligible Neonatologists to join the growing CHRISTUS Ochsner Neonatology Team at their community Level III NICU in Lake Charles, LA. The NICU operates with 24/7 Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) in-house coverage and participates in national quality improvement networks like Vermont Oxford Network.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide neonatology care at a Level III NICU with a strong support system including 24/7 NNP coverage.

• Participate in neonatal quality improvement projects within the Ochsner system.

• Collaborate with a comprehensive children’s program including pediatric specialists in the region.

• Contribute to the neonatal transport system serving the Gulf South region.
