As part of their commitment to fast and efficient product delivery, the organization is hiring an Operations Manager at its Regional Distribution Center in Amsterdam, NY. This role is critical in ensuring that the products reach guests efficiently, safely, and on time.

As an Operations Manager, you will have the opportunity to impact Target’s logistics operations by managing team performance, ensuring safety standards, enhancing process efficiency, and fostering a collaborative, high-performance work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Promote a strong safety culture through awareness, training, and accountability.

• Lead and motivate diverse team members to maximize productivity and development.

• Drive daily operational excellence and ensure alignment with performance goals and budgets.

• Provide real-time, constructive, and actionable feedback to team members.

• Foster innovation by identifying and implementing new processes for efficiency and flow optimization.

• Conduct root-cause analysis of operational issues in an environment that supports testing and calculated risk.

• Ensure coordination and communication across functions to keep teams informed and aligned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.

• Demonstrated leadership skills with a proven ability to engage and inspire teams.

• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

• Analytical thinking and conflict resolution abilities.

• Ability to access and operate in all areas of the Distribution Center, including mezzanine platforms and conveyor crossovers.

• Capability to interpret and apply policies, procedures, and system operations.
