Description:
We are looking for a Personal Injury Attorney to join our team. The right candidate will be comfortable handling all phases of litigation, from case inception through trial or settlement. This role involves direct client interaction, aggressive advocacy, and strategic case management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee a full caseload of personal injury lawsuits, ensuring timely and effective litigation.
- Draft and argue motions, including motions for summary judgment and motions to dismiss.
- Conduct depositions of plaintiffs, defendants, experts, and witnesses.
- Attend and litigate court hearings, mediations, and arbitrations.
- Negotiate settlements with opposing counsel and insurance companies to achieve maximum compensation for clients.
- Prepare cases for trial, including witness interviews, expert preparation, and trial strategy development.
- Work collaboratively with medical professionals, accident reconstructionists, and economists to build strong cases.
- Provide legal counsel to clients, ensuring they understand their rights and legal options.
- Keep detailed records and maintain compliance with court deadlines and filing requirements.
- Assist in jury selection and trial presentations when necessary.
Qualifications:
- JD degree and an active state bar license.
- 4-15 years of personal injury experience.
- Strong case management and trial preparation skills.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases simultaneously.
- Excellent negotiation and litigation skills.
- Passion for client advocacy and achieving justice for injured individuals.
