Retail Relationship Banker

Description:

BMO U.S. is seeking a Retail Relationship Banker to deliver exceptional customer service and provide tailored financial solutions to retail and small business clients. This role focuses on building and managing client relationships, growing business within the community, and offering guidance on a variety of financial services, including everyday banking, retail investments, lending solutions, and home financing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Engage with customers to identify financial needs and recommend personalized banking solutions.

• Support customers with digital banking tools and services to enhance convenience.

• Proactively build relationships by generating appointments and expanding community presence.

• Ensure compliance with regulatory and risk management policies, including consumer lending regulations.

• Analyze credit applications and make sound lending recommendations.

• Collaborate with branch and market teams to achieve business objectives.

• Identify and report suspicious activities related to money laundering compliance.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bilingual in Spanish and English.

• Post-secondary degree in a related field.

• Knowledge of retail investments, lending products, and small business solutions.

• Consultative sales or customer service experience with a focus on relationship management.

• Federal registration with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) required for U.S. candidates.
