A global company is seeking an experienced RPG Developer for an onsite role in Cincinnati, OH. This role involves designing, developing, testing, and maintaining high-quality software using ILE RPG while ensuring optimal system performance.

Key Responsibilities:

💻 Software Development & Maintenance:

• Develop, test, and maintain software using ILE RPG.

• Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize system performance.

• Maintain and support existing RPG-based applications.

🛠 Lifecycle & Quality Assurance:

• Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle.

• Ensure high-quality solutions with robust testing and debugging.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

✔ Experience:

• 5+ years of RPG development experience.

• Expertise in RPG II, ILE, and Free RPG programming.

• Strong knowledge of IBM Db2 Database, DDS, CL, and SQL.

✔ Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (preferred).

✔ Technical Proficiency:

• Experience with version control systems.

• Knowledge of security protocols and threats in software development.
