School Principal

Description:

Bay County Schools is seeking a Principal to provide leadership in educational development and school administration. The ideal candidate should possess significant instructional experience and be prepared to lead staff and students in a successful learning environment. This role demands a strong leadership background, preferably with prior administrative or supervisory experience. The Principal will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the school, supporting faculty and staff, and ensuring academic success for students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the school community in the development and implementation of academic programs

• Oversee daily operations and school administration

• Support faculty and staff with professional development and instructional strategies

• Ensure a safe and conducive learning environment for students

• Develop and maintain relationships with parents, the community, and district officials

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Educational Leadership or Master's degree with Educational Leadership certification

• Three years of successful instructional experience in public school education

• Three years of successful experience as an administrator and/or supervisor

• Related years of experience required, as detailed in the job description

Preferred Qualifications (Not Required):

• Classroom teaching experience

• Current or eligible for certification as a School Principal or Professional School Principal
