Description:
As a Senior ESS (Electronic Security Systems) Field Support Technician, you will play a critical role in providing technical and operational support for a range of security systems, including Card Access, CCTV, CATV, and Intrusion Detection. You will work directly at client sites Monday through Friday for 8 hours daily, supporting environments like offices, warehouses, data centers, and construction locations.
Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of ESS equipment and systems.
Act as the primary on-site liaison between the client, Diversified’s team, and other stakeholders.
Plan and implement process improvements to maintain and enhance ESS technology in critical client areas.
Oversee repairs and servicing of equipment, serving as the technical escalation point.
Schedule and execute preventative maintenance activities and report progress to clients.
Identify and resolve defective or failed equipment issues promptly.
Collaborate with equipment manufacturers, developers, engineers, and project managers to resolve technical challenges.
Conduct accurate fault diagnosis and manage system configuration and operation.
Drive continuous improvement efforts and work closely with clients to enhance technology solutions.
Track and report ESS support tickets and client requests efficiently.
Maintain professional communication with client executives and high-level personnel.
Ensure compliance with client HR policies, labor laws, safety rules, and other regulations.
Provide support during live events and large meetings, especially in auditoriums and venue spaces.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
US Citizenship (mandatory due to government client requirements).
Relevant certifications from ESS manufacturers (e.g., Lenel, Genetec, Gallagher).
Minimum 3 years of experience in enterprise-level ESS support.
Proficiency in AutoCAD/Visio for reading technical drawings.
Basic wiring skills and strong computer proficiency, including specialized ESS software.
Solid knowledge of computer networking and troubleshooting.
Ability to communicate effectively in high-pressure situations, including meetings with senior executives.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Physical ability to stand, kneel, crouch, work at heights, and lift/maneuver up to 75 lbs.
Must pass background screening and drug testing.
