Staff Accountant

Description:

A dynamic Music Brand is seeking a Staff Accountant to join their finance team in Miami, FL, on a hybrid work schedule. This is an exciting opportunity to work in the entertainment industry while contributing to the nonprofit’s philanthropic efforts in performing arts education.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage AP invoicing, vendor accounts, and processing

• Monitor AR aging reports and apply cash applications

• Perform account reconciliations and credit card reconciliations

• Process expense reports, ensuring compliance with travel reimbursements and documentation

• Assist with month-end close and financial data collection

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial operations run smoothly

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance (Required)

• 1-2 years of experience as an Accounting Assistant or Staff Accountant

• Proficient in Excel; experience with any ERP system is preferred

• Fluency in English and Spanish is required

• Knowledge of AP/AR processes, account reconciliations, and expense reporting
