Associate Attorney

Peer Consulting Resources Inc. is actively hiring an Associate Attorney with strong experience in personal injury litigation to join their client’s legal team based in Torrance, CA. This full-time position offers the chance to work on a dynamic portfolio of 30–40 plaintiff personal injury cases from initial filing through trial. Candidates with a proven background in handling high-volume caseloads and achieving favorable litigation outcomes will find this opportunity highly rewarding.

The role demands active case management, legal drafting, deposition involvement, and client representation. While prior trial experience is not mandatory, it is considered highly desirable. A hybrid work schedule (one remote day per week) may be allowed post-probation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage 30–40 plaintiff personal injury cases as lead attorney

• Handle all litigation stages: pleadings, motions, discovery, depositions, and trial prep

• Develop strategic legal approaches and maximize outcomes

• Conduct and defend depositions, including expert witnesses

• Lead client negotiations and case settlements

• Serve as second chair during trial proceedings when needed

• Maintain timely and transparent communication with clients

• Supervise and guide legal assistants and paralegal support staff

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

• Active member of the California State Bar, in good standing

• At least 3 years of experience in plaintiff-side personal injury litigation

• Strong litigation knowledge and courtroom preparation experience

• Excellent communication, research, and legal writing skills

• High ethical standards and ability to work independently or within a team

• Comfortable managing high-volume caseloads with a results-driven approach
