Jacoby & Meyers Accident & Injury Lawyers is seeking a Pre-Litigation Associate Attorney to join a dynamic team focused on personal injury cases. The role provides hands-on training, client interaction, and the opportunity to build and manage cases from investigation through pre-litigation. This position requires attention to detail, flexibility, and strong communication skills, with a supportive environment to develop legal expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with flexibility in hours and locations.

• Draft court documents with strong attention to detail.

• Compile evidence, medical records, bills, and loss documentation to build cases.

• Negotiate claims and follow up with clients.

• Appear in front of judges for hearings.

• Review and evaluate liability and insurance coverage in pre-litigation.

• Build relationships and communicate with clients and family members.

• Conduct investigations and analyze evidence to determine claims, liability, and insurance coverage.

• Conduct legal research and apply case law to support cases.

• Draft government claim forms, demand letters, and correspondence with adjusters.

Requirements:

• Licensed attorney in California.

• Comfortable meeting clients on-site and off-site.

• Flexible with hours and travel as needed.

• Strong communication skills and ability to work well under pressure.

• Creative, flexible, and detail-oriented in writing and analysis.
