As a Family Law Associate, you will play a vital role in representing clients throughout various stages of family law cases, from initial motions to courtroom representation. You will work closely with experienced attorneys and gain exposure to complex case strategies, trial preparation, mediation, and client relations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Legal Documentation: Draft and respond to Request for Order (RFO) motions, trial briefs, mediation summaries, and declarations with high legal accuracy and persuasive language.

• Court Representation: Represent clients in RFO and evidentiary hearings. Serve as second chair in trials and actively participate in case strategy development.

• Client Interaction: Maintain extensive contact with clients, conducting interviews and gathering detailed case information to support effective legal strategies.

• Research & Analysis: Conduct in-depth legal research and analysis of family law issues, financial records, and source documents to support pleadings and hearings.

• Discovery Management: Propound and respond to discovery, including handling motions to compel with strategic precision.

• Team Collaboration: Work alongside seasoned attorneys during mediations, case conferences, and court proceedings, gaining valuable mentorship and team-based growth opportunities.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Experience: 1–7 years of hands-on experience in Family Law practice.

• Legal Expertise: Demonstrated ability to handle RFO motions, discovery processes, legal declarations, and client interviews.

• Courtroom Skills: Prior experience appearing in RFO or evidentiary hearings is highly valued.

• Writing & Research: Excellent legal writing and analytical skills with strong attention to legal detail and strategy.

• Soft Skills: A proactive and self-starting attitude, ability to manage multiple priorities, and strong interpersonal communication skills.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Salary Range: $135,000 – $255,000/year, based on experience
  (Monthly equivalent: $11250 – $21250)
