The Seasonal Beauty Advisor plays a key role in ensuring every guest enjoys a superior shopping experience. You will assist guests in discovering beauty products, perform demonstrations, maintain store standards, support sales targets, and help drive in-store events and promotions. Key Responsibilities:

Performance:

• Contribute to achieving or exceeding store goals in retail sales, service sales, and guest loyalty programs.

• Deliver exceptional guest service by greeting, engaging, and identifying each guest’s unique beauty needs.

• Provide product recommendations, demonstrate beauty techniques, and perform skincare analyses or makeup applications to enhance guest experience.

• Handle sales transactions, refunds, exchanges, and online orders efficiently and courteously.

• Support and help execute in-store events and service promotions to drive traffic and engagement.

• Stay updated on new and existing products, understanding their ingredients, benefits, and usage.

• Maintain regular attendance and ensure punctuality.

People:

• Contribute to an inclusive, collaborative, and supportive work environment.

• Promote Ulta Beauty’s guest loyalty program, including the Ulta app and credit offers.

• Collaborate with managers and peers to enhance business performance.

• Participate in ongoing product and service training for continuous professional growth.

Process:

• Follow Ulta Beauty’s operational policies, dress code, and safety standards.

• Keep assigned areas well-stocked, clean, organized, and visually appealing.

• Ensure testers are available and properly maintained.

• Assist in restocking, visual merchandising, marketing displays, and shipment processing.

• Uphold company asset protection and loss prevention standards.

• Perform other operational duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

Education:

• High school diploma preferred.

Experience:

• At least 1 year of relevant work experience in retail, customer service, or beauty sales preferred.

Skills:

• Passion for guest service and sales.

• Proficient with basic technology such as POS systems and mobile devices.

• Strong relationship-building and communication skills.

• Ability to troubleshoot and work independently or as part of a team.

Special Requirements:

• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

• Physical ability to stand, move, bend, and lift up to 25 lbs. during shifts.

• Willingness to maintain a professional appearance in line with Ulta Beauty’s standards.
