Store Manager

LensCrafters, a leader in innovative vision care and part of the global EssilorLuxottica group, is seeking a Store Manager for its Rochester, NY location. The Store Manager will play a critical leadership role in driving store performance through team leadership, customer satisfaction, operational excellence, and close collaboration with the in-store Doctor of Optometry. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for customer service, a proven record in retail leadership, and the ability to inspire a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver exceptional customer and patient experiences by instilling a culture of service excellence

• Coach, train, and mentor the team using company training programs

• Analyze business reports and implement action plans to improve KPIs such as NPS, Sales to Plan, Complete Pair %, Customer Count, and Exam Growth

• Hire and retain a high-performance team aligned with store needs

• Partner with the Doctor of Optometry to elevate overall patient experience and business outcomes

• Execute all visual, operational, and inventory tasks flawlessly and to brand standards

• Maintain compliance with company-approved safety and health programs

Basic Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent

• 4+ years of management or supervisory experience

• Strong leadership, influencing, and negotiation skills

• Excellent verbal communication and listening ability

• Proficient in basic math and retail operations

• Experience with POS systems, computers, and calculators

• Knowledge of optical theory and merchandise is preferred

Preferred Qualifications:

• College degree or equivalent

• State licensure (where applicable) or ABO Certification in non-licensed states

• LensCrafters Final Inspector and Quality/Fitting/Adjusting Program certifications

• Previous experience in optical retail or customer service

• Familiarity with LensCrafters’ Dashboard and merchandise knowledge

Compensation & Benefits:

• Annual Salary: $60,405.80 to $102,251.85

• Monthly Salary: Approx. $5034 to $8521

• Eligibility for performance bonuses and/or commission plans
