Task Associate

Description:

Ulta Beauty is seeking a Task Associate to join their dynamic retail team in Kemah, TX. This role focuses on operational excellence to ensure that merchandise is properly stocked, displays are well-maintained, and the store remains clean and inviting for guests. Task Associates play a vital role in supporting the sales process, ensuring the store operates efficiently, and delivering an exceptional shopping experience for beauty enthusiasts.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute shipment and replenishment processes, merchandise sets, planograms, and inventory counts according to company standards.

• Contribute to achieving store retail goals by ensuring timely completion of all assigned tasks.

• Maintain overall store cleanliness including salesfloor, restrooms, backroom, cashwrap, and break area.

• Support the Merchandise Manager (MM) and Operations Manager (OM) in operational compliance and execution goals.

• Participate in ongoing training and development, including brand and category education.

• Adhere to company policies, dress code, and loss prevention best practices.

• Provide exceptional guest service while maintaining operational accuracy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.

• At least 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience.

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

• Proficient with basic technology (POS systems and Apple devices).

• Strong problem-solving and time management skills.

Working Conditions

• Continuous mobility throughout the store during shifts.

• Frequent bending, standing, pushing, pulling, and reaching.

• Ability to lift, carry, or move up to 25 lbs regularly.
